Feeder manager VAMP 255

The comprehensive protection functions, many communication protocols and numerous auxiliary functions make the VAMP 255 perfect for utility and industrial power distribution. The feeder manager relay is used for applications where combined protection, remote and local control, measurement, alarming and status indication functions are needed. The relay is suitable for industrial, power plant, utility and secondary distribution installations.

Control and indication

The VAMP 255 feeder manager allows local and remote controlling of two objects i.e. circuit breakers, disconnectors and earthing switches. Controlling can be done with "select-execute" or "direct control" principle.

Interlocking checks the conditions for safe controlling before the output pulse is issued.

Customer defined interlockings are programmed and downloaded in the relay using the VAMPSET software.
