Power monitoring unit VAMP 260

VAMP 260

PMU is used by a great number of customers in power plants, industries and electrical utilities. PMU gives access to local information as well as remote monitoring of low and medium voltage switchgears. PMU replaces separate meters and transducers and minimise installation work. PMU gives you more information at a lower cost.PMU measures threephase currents and voltages, is equipped with digital inputs and outputs as well as analogue outputs. PMU is able to communicate using the most common protocols.

Product Highlights

The measuring and calculation functions include very comprehensive handling of currents, voltages, power and energy.

Instant as well as periodic max, mean and min values are available.

Additionally PMU presents harmonics, cos and tan phi, powerfactor, phase-sequence and operating time. The accuracy of the measured or calculated values is very good.

Any measured or calculated value can be connected to any one of the four analogue outputs. The output signal is one of two standard signals.

Energy pulses are available from the digital outputs.

The measured or calculated values or any digital input can be assigned to one of the six alarm channels. The alarm channel can then be configured to one of the digital outputs. The last fifty events are stored in the memory of the unit.

The information from the PMU is available on the 8x22 alphanumeric/graphic display, on a local PC connected to the front of the unit or via the serial communication connection.

Four standard and open communication protocols, Profibus-DP, Modbus, slave and master, SPA-bus and IEC 60 850 - 103 are available in the unit.
